Volunteer Fire Department
Besides fighting fire there are numerous other tasks completed by the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department members. Members maintain and test all dry hydrants on ponds & brooks scattered around our town and monthly test equipment and ensure all trucks are in proper working order. The department participates in the town’s July 4th celebration. All volunteer department members spend time training via local monthly drills and through regional mutual aid drills.
There is a critical need for additional younger members as the average age of the volunteers grows older. If interested in volunteering please contact the Fire Chief or Assistant Fire Chief.
