West Windsor Affordable Homes Study Community Forum #2

The West Windsor Planning Commission (PC) invites you to attend an important Community Forum at the Town Hall on Saturday, September 27 from 10am to 12pm.
The PC is seeking to understand and address affordable housing in West Windsor with the goal of increasing the housing supply for local workers, seniors, and families. “Affordable” means that the cost of housing (rent or mortgage plus utilities, property taxes, and insurance) does not exceed 30% of household income. The PC wants to develop a roadmap for ensuring that people who work in our community can live in our community.
The PC, along with its architectural and engineering consultants, will: (1) describe the work done since the February 1 Community Forum; (2) review several high-priority potential sites for development or renovation, (3) discuss the opportunities and challenges with each site, (4) present potential layouts and building styles for the sites, (5) discuss overall findings and next steps regarding financing and development of affordable homes, and (6) invite your comments and suggestions.
