Every five years, West Windsor must submit a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) for state approval. The purpose of the LHMP is to identify natural hazards, analyze past and potential damage due to natural and made-made disasters, and identify strategies for mitigating future damages.
In collaboration with the Mount Ascutney Regional Commission (MARC), and with the guidance of a professional consultant, the following members of the LHMP worked to update and submit for approval the town’s 2023 LHMP:
Mike Spackman
Erik Boedtker
Mark Higgins
Deb Shearer
Stephanie Magnan, SEAM Solutions
The approved West Windsor LHMP was finalized on February 16th, 2024 and will remain in effect until February 15th, 2029.
