West Windsor Bridge Ordinance
The West Windsor Selectboard is seeking feedback on a proposed Bridge Ordinance. This new ordinance would allow the Town of West Windsor to recoup the cost of repairs resulting from damage to covered bridges in the municipality from over height and overweight vehicles. The Best Covered Bridge on Churchill Road was struck on three occasions in 2024, resulting in several thousand dollars of damage.
The Selectboard will discuss this proposed ordinance again at their May 28th meeting.
