Development Review Board Vacancy
The West Windsor Selectboard is
looking for a volunteer to fill an opening on the Development Review Board
(DRB). If you are interested, please contact DRB Chair Shannon Harrington at hshannon383@gmail.com or Zoning Administrator Deb Shearer at zoning@westwindsorvt.org.
The Development Review Board is a quasi-judicial board which hears and decides on applications for variances, conditional use, site plan
review, flood hazard review, subdivision of land, and/or planned unit
development. The DRB also hears appeals of Zoning
Administrator decisions. The DRB meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM on
an “as needed” basis (i.e. if there are any applications that need to be
heard).
Helpful (but not required) background: prior work with state or local governments;
prior community board service; knowledge of judicial procedure or Vermont
statutes (especially land use regulations); prior zoning experience.
