This project will engage residents, local officials, business organizers, community organizations, regional planning and economic development professionals, consultants, and state agency representatives in a master planning process that will guide local policy decisions and capital investment. The planning process will focus on improving multi-modal transportation and wayfinding, calming traffic, increasing parking, providing amenities like benches and bike racks, and investigating the redevelopment of the fire station site, in order to support economic and community development in the Village of Brownsville.
